Directions to STR (UK) Ltd From Junction 11 M4

  • Follow signs to Reading town centre (A33)
  • Verizon HQ on left hand side
  • Continue on A33 relief road towards town centre
  • B&Q Warehouse and Reading Football Club on the left
  • Continue straight ahead at traffic lights
  • Reading Speedway/Greyhound track on the left
  • Continue straight along the A33
  • Continue straight on at next two sets of traffic lights
  • On right Audi, VW, Renault, Nissan Car Dealerships
  • Stay in left lane and continue ahead at traffic lights.
  • Do not go off at the exit slip, take A329 towards Caversham
  • Proceed ahead, under bridge, staying in the left hand lane
  • Continue for approx 1 mile through traffic lights
  • Under railway bridge
  • Fire Station on left
  • TGI Fridays on right
  • At roundabout take first exit signposted to Caversham
  • Continue for approx a quarter of a mile in left hand lane
  • At roundabout take first exit into Richfield Avenue (Gorge Café on the left)
  • Rivermead Leisure centre on right
  • Continue over roundabout, through traffic lights and under two railway bridges
  • At roundabout take second exit right into Portman Road
  • After approximately 300 yards turn right onto Ashmere Terrace
  • STR UK is immediately to your right
  • Parking can be found at the end of the road in The Globe car park, adjacent to the railway line.

Directions to STR (UK) Ltd Ambergate Laboratory From Junction 28 M1

  • At Junction 28 take the exit A38 to Derby.
  • Proceed for 8 miles along the dual carriage way.
  • Take the slip road off the A38, sign posted A610.
  • At the roundabout below the A38, take the 4th exit, A610 to Ambergate / Matlock
  • Proceed downhill 1 mile to the traffic lights.
  • Note: EXCAVATOR public house on left.
  • Drive straight across traffic lights continuing on A610 for 1 mile.
  • Note: High black stone wall on left for a short distance followed by open country.
  • Note: After 1 mile observe a high black stone wall on the right.
  • Observe the sign to “CrichTramwayMuseum” indicating a right turn through an arch in the black wall.
  • Turn right through the arch.
  • Note: LORD NELSON public house on left.
  • Proceed 100m uphill.
  • Turn left onto the industrial site through a controlled gate.
  • STR building is 50m straight on.
  • Parking immediately to left and right of main building.
